Members of Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), Royal Society for Protection of Birds (RSPB), BirdLife International and State Coordinators of Indian Bird Conservation Network (IBCN) held a 4 day conference during Jan 30 - Feb 2, 2010 to deliberate on the issues facing protection of wild birds and their habitat. The conference saw leading names like Dr Asad R Rahmani, Ian Barber, Tim Stowes, Nita Shah and Ashish Kothari put forward their viewpoints on the relevant subjects. The state coordinators of IBCN from across the country also highlighted the work carried out by them in their respective state.
