Wild Haven Resort
offers all its resources to focus on providing a great learning experience to students.
We are fully committed to the need for environment education,
and our primary objective is to fulfill this need by providing structured tours for student groups from schools
across the country.
The need for environment
education:
 Care
and concern for the environment and natural resources has to be
made an essential part of the learning process in growing
children so that as citizens of tomorrow, they take the
responsibility of preserving the planet for posterity.
Although school curriculum now incorporates Environmental
Studies as an essential subject, we propose to provide value
addition to students with an actual "hands-on" learning
experience in the forests, which would strongly reinforce
classroom lessons.

How we propose to help
fulfill that need:
 The best way of imparting environment education to school
children is by giving them access to wilderness areas where they
can explore the laboratory of life, learn about nature, and the
importance of preserving the countless species of fauna and
flora which share the earth with them.
With this viewpoint, Wild
Haven Resort offers student groups the chance to come to Bandhavgarh tiger reserve under our conducted Environment Education
Tours.

Salient features of the tour:
-
The
duration of the tour at Wild Haven would be 2 nights & 3
days (excluding actual travel time).

We
shall take charge of the group at Katni or Umaria railway
station, and drive to the resort by road.

Suitable shared accommodation, all meals, vehicles for
jungle safaris, educational material, lectures, film shows
and all group activities will be provided by us from the
time the group arrives till the time it departs.
School Principals
/ Teachers / Tour operators can
plan specific tours of their student groups in consultation with
us.
A group consisting of 20
to 30 students, accompanied by 2 teachers, would be ideally
suited to spend quality time with us. School authorities are
advised to chalk out firm dates for their groups so that
confirmed bookings may be obtained well in time.
Tour
costs:
Student groups will be charged on per person
basis, which would be inclusive of transport to and from Katni / Umaria
railway station, lodging & boarding, jungle safaris, film shows,
lectures and camp activities for the duration of the groups'
stay at Wild Haven Resort.

Mode of payment:
-
The
payment of tour fees will be accepted in the form of a
Demand Draft.

The full payment
should be made one month in advance before the start of the
tour.
Tour Dates:
Tours
according to the itinerary, can be arranged on mutually agreed
dates from October 2006 onwards. School authorities and
Tour operators can chalk out an advance calendar of tours according to
the number of groups they plan to send. Homogenous group in
terms of age / class would be preferable.
